Invitation to Life

The Bible says:
bullet Isaiah 55:1 "Ho, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters."
 
bullet Isaiah 55:3 "Incline your ear, and come to me. Hear and your souls shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you ..."
 
bullet Isaiah 55:6 "Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near."
 

Consider these Biblical truths:
bullet God loves you. (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:4-5)
bullet You are a sinner. ( Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:10 )
bullet Sin separates you from God. ( Isaiah 59:2; Romans 3:23 )
bullet You can't save yourself. ( Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 4:4-5 )
bullet God sent His son Jesus to save you from the penalty of your sin. ( Romans 6:23; 1 Peter 2:24; Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21 )
bullet You can receive Jesus Christ through faith! ( Romans 10:9-10; John 14:6)
bullet Through prayer you can trust in Jesus Christ.
  1. Admit to God that you are a sinner.
  2. Express sorrow or repentance for your sinfulness.
  3. Ask Him to forgive your sins.
  4. Invite Jesus into your life as Savior and Lord.
  5. Thank Him for entering your life.
  6. Commit yourself to live for Him. ( Romans 10:13)

Follow through:

Trusting Jesus is the first step.  Next, be obedient by following Christ in baptism and by uniting with a church.  We will help you find a church home in your local area.  As you live your life as a Christian, you will experience the true purpose and meaning of life.  Share your decision for Christ with another Christian today.
