Mission Trip to Guatemala, August 1-8, 2009.

Eleven people participated in this trip to Guatemala from our Association: Ken Allen (Pastor, East Side), Haley Allen (East Side), Parker Allen (East Side), Tim Bell (East Side), Noel Bergquist (East Side), Dan Brunetti (East Side), Janice Foshee (Center Grove), Randy Makemson (DOM-Faith), Brenda Makemson (Faith), Bill Pagan (East Side), and Tim Pinkard (Pastor, New Harmony). 

During the time there they will be partnering with a new church in Guatemala City to reach people with the gospel. In the mornings they will be evangelizing in schools and parks. At night they will be going door to door inviting people to see a “family movie” and sharing the gospel at the same time. At the end of the movie an invitation will be given to respond to the gospel message. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will bring conviction to sinful hearts and that doors will be wide open to the gospel message. Pray that the truth of the gospel will be clearly understood by the hearers. Lastly, pray for everyone's safety going, coming, and while they are there.
